Have you already spotted a position that you are a bit keen to apply for at the November meeting, but are unsure what involvement within STS actually entails and perhaps want to ask questions directly to the person currently sitting on the position?
Then you have your chance during lunch on Monday 8/11. An Election Pork will then be organized where, among other things, members of the board will be present. They will give a presentation of their items and answer your questions. This is the perfect opportunity to learn what it means to be engaged and what the specific duties of the various positions are.
The election pork will also end with a mingling where you will have the opportunity to speak directly with the post you are interested in and of course there will be coffee!
